He obtained his law degree from the Universidad Panamericana, where he graduated with honors defending his thesis entitled “Rationality and discourse of punishment’s teleology”.
In 2004, he worked at the Seventh Criminal Court of the Supreme Court of Justice of the State of Chihuahua, as assistant of the Judge in the processing of cases, relief of diligences and judgment projects elaboration.
From 2005 to 2007, he was the assistant of the Panamerican Institute of Jurisprudence´s Director, at the Faculty of Law of Universidad Panamericana, where he carried out activities that include research, edition and correction of legal texts and the organization of coloquia, congresses and a diversity of academic events of the Faculty of Law.
At the same time, he took several courses on criminal law, in the National Institute of Criminal Sciences (INACIPE, by its initials in Spanish): “American criminal system” and “Criminal responsibility of public officers”.
During 2007, he worked at the law firm Requena Abogados, S.C., where he practiced criminal law in Federal and Local Courts in the Federal District and other States of Mexico.
In 2008, he was the Captain of the winner team of the National Jurisprudence Competition “Juridical Challenge”, convoked by the Supreme Court of Justice of Mexico, representing the Faculty of Law of Universidad Panamericana.
He has been the Editorial Coordinator of Ars Iuris, the semiannual publication of the Panamerican Institute of Jurisprudence of the Faculty of Law of Universidad Panamericana.
He is a professor of Introduction to Law and Juridical Argumentation at Universidad Panamericana.
He became part of this firm in January of 2008, where he got involved in the areas of Amparo, Administrative Litigation, Regulatory Affairs and Legal Amendments, mainly.
